Some of the modeled pieces (left to right):
Mochi original, green crop top, Mochi shirt dress, and leather vest
If you don’t know what mochi is, you’ve got some serious eating to do. As much as I love high fashion, this charity fashion show called for some parody shirts that combined both Gucci’s artistry and my love for Japanese food.
Aside from the Mochi shirts, my collection also involved actual sewing. As someone who hand sews better than machine sew, I knew this show would be a challenge. So instead I resorted to tweaking some beautiful pieces including a torn leather jacket and a green dress I previously owned. There was also a beautiful red bedazzled shorts that I made, which was unfortunately not shown here.
In regards to the beauty look, Urban Decay and Color pop is the way to go! A hair tutorial for Iris’ look might follow shortly 😉
Thank you to everyone who participated, helped, cheered, and so on
The overwhelming anxiety was worth it 🙂
P.S. can we please just appreciate their makeup/glitter?
